How it works
EHO assured advice
Safer Food Scores has a Primary Authority Co-ordinating Partnership with Milton Keynes Council (MKC). These Government-approved partnerships are designed to ensure consistency of EHO enforcement throughout England.
Our latest food safety and health & safety management systems have been examined and assured by MKC. Clients who opt in and follow these procedures benefit from legal protection: if an EHO questions the procedures, they must first speak to MKC. Disagreements can be referred to the Office for Product Safety and Standards.

Opting in — or choosing another council
To benefit from this assurance and reduce the risk of an unfairly scored food hygiene rating, advise us and formally opt in so your company details can be entered on the Primary Authority website that EHOs check before they inspect.
